Wales
Wales's ministry model centers on family and the next generation — school ministry, children's ministry, and a camps network that reaches hundreds of kids each year. Our vision is to build the same kind of clear, strategic placement pathway here that's beginning to take shape elsewhere in the AoG GB movement, as our direct relationship with Welsh national leadership continues to grow.
Current # of Workers
We currently have 6 workers serving across Wales, engaged in school and children's ministry programs, and in a growing kids'-camp ministry network, called Starfish.

Receiving capacity
As part of the wider AoG GB movement, Wales offers real potential for new workers, with open doors for collaboration and church planting efforts.
Working with our national partners, we could receive 4+ workers today and connect them directly with local church ministries.
Current # of Churches
There are approximately 58 churches currently active in Wales, part of a wider AoG GB movement of 712 churches across England, Scotland, and Wales combined.
Target # of Churches by 2033
AoG GB's overall goal is reach a total of 2000 churches across the movement by 2033. A Wales-specific breakdown of that target is still pending; the current and target figures above are best estimates.

Starfish camps trains local leaders through annual kids' camps combining fun, discipleship, and leadership development — 14 new camp directors were trained this past summer alone. The team hopes to grow Starfish beyond Wales into other parts of Europe, and a UK publisher has approved a specially branded Starfish Bible for campers at 50% off with no setup fees.
$30,000 fully sponsors one camp. Ongoing funding is needed to sustain camps in Wales, fund the Bible-printing project, and support future expansion into new countries.
