Denmark
Denmark is among the most secularized nations on earth — four of the five most secular countries in the world are Nordic — yet it's showing genuine signs of spiritual renewal. Recent data shows a rising number of Danes reporting belief in God, with 80% saying they're interested in spirituality, and well-known public figures increasingly speaking openly about faith after three generations of deep secularization.
Our vision is to establish new international, English-speaking churches in Denmark's growing expat hubs, while deepening partnership with Danish local churches — several of which have expressed a strong, genuine desire to work alongside us. Denmark's new national leadership has opened the door wide for this kind of collaborative church planting.

We currently have 2 workers (2 units) serving in Denmark, one engaged in student ministry and another working with children and youth in a local church, both in the capital city of Copenhagen.

Receiving capacity
A specific and growing need exists for international, English-speaking churches — driven largely by the influx of NATO personnel and major pharmaceutical companies into cities like Esbjerg and
Hillerød.
Copenhagen also offers significant opportunity to reach the international community directly, and
student ministries remain a wide-open door here as well.
Working with our national partners, we could receive several new workers today, both young and
experienced, who could be connected with local churches. The role of the local church is very
important in Denmark and required in order to secure a visa.

Mosaik, our national partner in Denmark, is a small, closely connected network of approximately
45 churches.

No specific 2033 target has been expressed, but we could easily see 10 more churches added to
the movement by 2033.

Current projects & amount needed to fund
Our current team in Denmark is early in their ministry journey and not yet positioned to lead large-scale projects.
In the near term, support is best channeled through local church initiatives and occasional renovation needs such as children and youth spaces as they arise, rather than a single defined project.
We remain open to identifying a larger, fundable project as our team and partnerships in Denmark continue to grow.
